More detail
Three things need answers: whether you remain a member once the employment link ends, how deposits and loan repayments are collected when check-off stops, and what happens to any outstanding loan. Many Saccos have widened their bond specifically so members can stay through a job change, but that is a fact about each society rather than a general rule.
The practical risk is the second one. A member who changes employer and does not immediately set up direct payment can be several months into arrears before anyone notices, which is a common route into default and reaches the guarantors who backed the loan.
