Accountability, not surveillance

This page is not about accusing anyone. It is about a business owner being able to answer a simple question: who did this. Individual logins, clear permissions and a record of voids and discounts turn a shared till, where everything is anonymous, into one where every action has a name attached.

Most Kenyan shops run on a shared till login and a lot of trust. That works until a discrepancy shows up and nobody can say what happened, because the system never recorded who was on shift when it did.

Veira does not add a layer of monitoring on top of your POS. Accountability is built into how the POS already works: a login identifies who is selling, a permission decides what they can do, and every void or discount is logged as part of the sale, not a separate step anyone can skip.

Does Veira prevent staff theft?
Veira does not make claims about preventing theft. What it does is give every action, a sale, a void, a discount, a stock change, a named owner and a timestamp, so patterns that would otherwise be invisible become visible to the business owner.
Can staff see each other's sales or accounts?
That depends on the permissions the owner sets. Individual accounts mean each login is separate; what a staff member can see or do is configured by the business, not fixed by Veira.
How many staff accounts are included?
Starter includes 1-2 users. Growth and above include unlimited users, so every team member can have their own login regardless of team size.
Can I require a manager approval for voids or discounts?
Yes, permission levels can require a manager or owner login to authorise a void or a discount above a set amount.
Does this work across multiple branches?
Yes, on plans with multiple branches, accountability reporting can be viewed per branch or across the whole business.
How much does this cost?
Individual accounts and permissions are included from the Growth plan (KES 5,999/month). Starter (KES 2,999/month) supports 1-2 users on a shared login.
