KRA eTIMS and ETR

Can I print eTIMS receipts, or are they digital only?

Updated June 2026

Short answer

You can do both. An eTIMS receipt can be printed for the customer who wants paper, and it can also be shared digitally. A terminal with a built-in printer, like the Veira terminal, prints the receipt at the counter while the invoice is still reported electronically to KRA.

More detail

Going electronic for KRA does not mean customers lose paper receipts. The invoice is reported digitally, and a printed copy can still be handed over.

A handheld with a built-in printer covers both needs at once: the customer gets their slip, and the compliant invoice is reported in the background.
