What do I do if the internet goes down while trading on Veira?

Updated June 2026

Short answer

Keep selling. Veira is offline-first, so each sale is stored on the device and the eTIMS invoice is queued, then everything syncs and files automatically when the connection returns. You do not stop serving customers because the network dropped.

More detail

The worst response to an outage is a system that blocks the sale until it reconnects, turning a short network blip into a queue of frustrated customers.

Offline-first means the counter keeps moving and nothing is lost. When the line is back, the queue clears on its own. Aim to reconnect the same day so the queue stays short.
