KRA eTIMS and ETR

How does eTIMS work for selling on social media or WhatsApp?

Updated June 2026

Short answer

Selling through Instagram, Facebook or WhatsApp does not put you outside eTIMS, since the requirement is about invoicing your sales, not about having a physical shop. You can issue an eTIMS invoice for an online order and even send it to the customer’s phone, so an online seller can be just as compliant as a storefront.

More detail

Online and social selling is real business, and KRA treats the sales the same way. Not having a shopfront does not remove the invoicing requirement.

The workflow fits how you already sell: take the order on chat, issue the eTIMS invoice from your device, and share it with the customer digitally. Confirm with the team how Veira sends invoices to a customer phone for your setup.
